          This prestigious institution was started by our founder Mr.LN.V.Samuel in 1980,in a small Initiative called South Arcot. He started it as S.D. Eden School in Muthandikuppam. Under his leadership, It then branched out in Vadalur, Boothangudi , Solatharam, Serakuppam and Sethiathope covering around 257 villages in our Cuddalore district. By the year 1988 he ended up his partnership with Mr.Thomas and continued his service here in the name in S.D.SION MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL and have branches in Boonthangudi, Solatharam and Sethiyathope. Long cherished dream have turned into reality under the leadership and guidance of LN. Samuel and LN. Santy Samuel.

              From the year 2020,Vadalur, Serakuppam , Solatharam and Sethiathope schools were undertaken by our correspondent Mr. Ln. Pravin Samuel and by our Principal Mam  Mrs Ln. Evance Pravin. 2020-2021, being the year of COVID, with lot of challenges around, we developed our school in an excellent way.The results has gone higher comparing with the other institutions in and around vadalur. Most of our students have gone to a nice position. For example our former student K.Kathir Selvi had passed in TNPSC group -1 exam in the sub-collector grade. A New vehicle parking area was set up for our school vans in front of our right side gate. We have built the SION garden. All the   plants were planted by our students.
